Hadith #49376
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِن يُسَافَرَ بِالْقُرْآنِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لِمُسْلِمٍ: «لَا تُسَافِرُوا بِالْقُرْآنِ فَإِنِّي لَا آمن أَن يَنَالهُ الْعَدو»
On the authority of Ibn Omar, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade traveling with the Qur’an to enemy land. agreed. And in a narration by Muslim: “Do not travel with the Qur’an, for I am not sure that the enemy will get it.”
