عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَفينَا الْأَعرَابِي والأعجمي قَالَ: «اقرؤوا فَكُلٌّ حَسَنٌ وَسَيَجِيءُ أَقْوَامٌ يُقِيمُونَهُ كَمَا يُقَامُ الْقِدْحُ يَتَعَجَّلُونَهُ وَلَا يَتَأَجَّلُونَهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شُعَبِ الْإِيمَانِ
On the authority of Jabir, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out to us while we were reading the Qur’an, and among us were the Bedouin and the non-Arab. He said: “Recite, for everything is good and it will come.” “There are people who perform it just as a mug is performed, they rush it and do not postpone it.” Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Faith
