وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْحَنَّانُ الْمَنَّانُ بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ أَسْأَلُكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «دَعَا اللَّهَ بِاسْمِهِ الْأَعْظَمِ الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ وَإِذَا سُئِلَ بِهِ أَعْطَى» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
On the authority of Anas, he said: I was sitting with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the mosque, and a man was praying, and he said: O God, I ask you that praise be to you. There is no god but You, the Compassionate, the Compassionate, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, I ask You The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “He called upon God by His greatest name, by which He answers, when called upon, and gives.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Al-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah
