عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ: كنَّا مَعَ طَلحةَ بنِ عُبيدِ اللَّهِ وَنَحْنُ حُرُمٌ فَأُهْدِيَ لَهُ طَيْرٌ وَطَلْحَةُ رَاقِدٌ فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَكَلَ وَمِنَّا مَنْ تَوَرَّعَ فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ طَلْحَةُ وَافَقَ مَنْ أَكَلَهُ قَالَ: فَأَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Othman Al-Taymi, he said: We were with Talha bin Ubaid Allah while we were in a state of sanctuary, and a bird was given to him as a gift, and Talha was lying down, so some of us had eaten. Among us was someone who was hesitant, and when Talha woke up, the one who ate it agreed. He said: So we ate it with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He narrated it Muslim
