Hadith #49932
On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “A servant does not earn illicit money and he gives it in charity and it is accepted from him and he does not spend from it.” Then he will be blessed for it, and he will not leave it behind his back unless it adds him to the Fire. God does not erase the bad with the bad, but He erases Evil is good, for evil does not obliterateevil . "Narrated by Ahmad and thus in Sharḥ al-Sunnah
