Hadith #49988
وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِنَّ آخِرَ مَا نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الرِّبَا وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُبِضَ وَلَمْ يُفَسِّرْهَا لَنَا فَدَعُوا الرِّبَا وَالرِّيبَةَ. رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه والدارمي
On the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, the last thing that was revealed was the verse about usury, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was arrested and did not explain it to us. So they abandoned usury and suspicion. Narrated by Ibn Majah and Al-Darimi
