On the authority of Abu Khaldah Al-Zarqi, he said: We came to Abu Hurairah about a friend of ours who had gone bankrupt, and he said: This is what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, decided on. He said: “Whenever a man dies or becomes bankrupt, the owner of the property has the right to his property if he finds it with his own eyes.” Narrated by Al-Shafi’i and Ibn Majah
