Hadith #50126
وَعنهُ قَالَ: كُنَّا نخبر وَلَا نَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا حَتَّى زَعَمَ رَافِعُ ابْن خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْهَا فَتَرَكْنَاهَا مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On his authority, he said: We used to tell the story without seeing anything wrong with it, until Rafi’ Ibn Khadij claimed that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade it, so we abandoned it for the sake of That. Narrated by Muslim
