On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, gave to the Jews of Khaybar the palm trees of Khaybar and its land on the condition that they would manage it from Their wealth and half of its fruit belong to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Narrated by Muslim, and in the narration of Al-Bukhari: The Messenger of God May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he gave Khaybar to the Jews so that they could work it and cultivate it, and they would get half of what came out of it.
