Hadith #50148
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ رَجُلٌ حَلَفَ عَلَى سِلْعَةٍ لَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ بِهَا أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا أُعْطِيَ وَهُوَ كَاذِبٌ وَرَجُلٌ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ وَرَجُلٌ مَنَعَ فَضْلَ مَاءٍ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ: الْيَوْمَ أَمْنَعُكَ فَضْلِي كَمَا مَنَعْتَ فَضْلَ مَاء لم تعْمل يداك «
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There are three to whom God will not speak on the Day of Resurrection, and a man who swears on a commodity will not look at them.” He was given more with it than what he was given, and he is a liar and a man who swore a false oath after the afternoon prayer in order to deduct money with it. A Muslim man and a man who withholds surplus water, and God says: Today I withhold from you My bounty just as you withheld surplus water that your hands did not use.
