وَعَنْ أَسْمَرَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَايَعْتُهُ فَقَالَ: «مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَى مَاءٍ لَمْ يَسْبِقْهُ إِلَيْهِ مُسْلِمٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Asmar bin Mudarris, he said: I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I pledged allegiance to him, and he said: “Whoever goes first to water and no Muslim precedes him to it, then he is “For him.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
