Hadith #50156
وَعَنْ طَاوُسٍ مُرْسَلًا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «من أحيى مَوَاتًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ فَهُوَ لَهُ وَعَادِيُّ الْأَرْضِ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ هِيَ لَكُمْ مِنِّي» . رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِي
And on the authority of Tawus as a messenger: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever revives a dead thing from the earth, it belongs to him, and the land belongs to God and His Messenger, then It is yours from me.” Narrated by Al-Shafi’i
