وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ دَبَّرَ مَمْلُوكًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ فَبَلَغَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مني؟» فَاشْتَرَاهُ نعيم بن النَّحَّامِ بِثَمَانِمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لِمُسْلِمٍ: فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَدَوِيُّ بثمانمائة دِرْهَم فجَاء بِهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: «ابْدَأْ بِنَفْسِكَ فَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْهَا فَإِنْ فَضَلَ شَيْءٌ فَلِأَهْلِكَ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ عَنْ أَهْلِكَ شَيْءٌ فَلِذِي قَرَابَتِكَ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ عَنْ ذِي قَرَابَتِكَ شَيْءٌ فَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا» يَقُولُ: فَبين يَديك وَعَن يَمِينك وَعَن شمالك
On the authority of Jabir: A man from the Ansar managed a property and did not have anyone else’s property. It reached the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: “Who will buy it? From me? Naim bin Al-Nahham bought it for eight hundred dirhams. agreed. And in a narration by Muslim: Nu`aym ibn Abd bought it. God Al-Adawi gave it eight hundred dirhams, so he brought it to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he gave it to him and then said: “Start with yourself and give it in charity. “Something, then it is for your family, and if something is left over from your family, then it is for your relative, and if something is left behind for your relative, then this and that.” He says: Between your hands, on your right, and on your left
