Hadith #50595
وَعَنْ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" كَانَ فِيمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ رَجُلٌ بِهِ جُرْحٌ فجزِعَ فأخذَ سكيّناً فحزَّ بِهَا يَدَهُ فَمَا رَقَأَ الدَّمُ حَتَّى مَاتَ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: بَادَرَنِي عَبْدِي بِنَفْسِهِ فَحَرَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْجنَّة "
On the authority of Jundub bin Abdullah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
“There was among those before you a man who had a wound, and he was frightened, so he took a knife and cut his hand with it, and the blood did not stop until he died. God Almighty said: My servant hastened to me.” himself, so Paradise was forbidden to him.”
