وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّك تبعثنا فتنزل بِقَوْمٍ لَا يُقْرُونَنَا فَمَا تَرَى؟ فَقَالَ لَنَا: «إِنْ نَزَلْتُمْ بِقَوْمٍ فَأَمَرُوا لَكُمْ بِمَا يَنْبَغِي لِلضَّيْفِ فَاقْبَلُوا فَانْ لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا فَخُذُوا مِنْهُمْ حق الضَّيْف الَّذِي يَنْبَغِي لَهُم»
On the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: I said to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: “You are sending us and coming down with a people who do not live with us, so what do you think?” So he said to us: “If you go down... people, so they ordered you what should be given to a guest, so accept. But if they do not do it, then take from them the right of a guest that is due to them.”
