Hadith #51419
On the authority of Omar, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade wearing silk except in this way, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, raised His two fingers: the middle and index fingers, and holding them together. And in a narration by Muslim: He proposed to a woman wearing a jabiya and said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade He, peace and blessings be upon him, abstained from wearing silk except where two, three, or four fingers fit.
