Hadith #51527
وَعَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ اسْتَجْمَرَ بِأَلُوَّةٍ غَيْرِ مُطَرَّاةٍ وَبِكَافُورٍ يَطْرَحُهُ مَعَ الْأَلُوَّةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا كَانَ يَسْتَجْمِرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
And on the authority of Nafi’, he said: When Ibn Umar used to cleanse himself with aloe, he would do it with aloe, not softened, and with camphor, which he would sprinkle with the aloe, then he said: This is how it was. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performs Ijtimar. Narrated by Muslim
