Hadith #51687
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنِ اقْتَبَسَ بَابًا مِنْ عِلْمِ النُّجُومِ لِغَيْرِ مَا ذَكَرَ اللَّهُ فَقَدِ اقْتَبَسَ شُعْبَةً مِنَ السِّحْرِ الْمُنَجِّمُ كَاهِنٌ والكاهنُ ساحرٌ والساحرُ كافرٌ» . رَوَاهُ رزين
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever quotes a chapter of astrology other than what God mentioned has quoted A branch of magic: The astrologer is a soothsayer, the soothsayer is a sorcerer, and the sorcerer is an infidel.
