وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَوْ أَمْسَكَ اللَّهُ الْقَطْرَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ خَمْسَ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَهُ لَأَصْبَحَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ: سُقِينَا بِنَوْءِ الْمِجْدَحِ ". رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيّ
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If God had withheld the rain from His servants for five years and then sent it, a group of people would have become unbelievers, saying: We were given water to drink from the glorious pinnacle.” Narrated by Al-Nasa’i
