حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ شَيْخًا، بِمَكَّةَ فِي إِمَارَةِ الْحَجَّاجِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ يَا عُمَرُ إِنَّكَ رَجُلٌ قَوِيٌّ لَا تُزَاحِمْ عَلَى الْحَجَرِ فَتُؤْذِيَ الضَّعِيفَ إِنْ وَجَدْتَ خَلْوَةً فَاسْتَلِمْهُ وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَقْبِلْهُ فَهَلِّلْ وَكَبِّرْ.
Veki'nin bize anlattığına göre Süfyan, Ebu Yafour el-Abdi'den rivayetle şöyle dedi: Mekke'de Haccac Emirliği'nde bir şeyhin Ömer ibn el-Hattab'dan Allah ondan razı olsun diye konuştuğunu duydum. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to him, “O Umar, you are a strong man. Do not crowd the stone.” So you harm the weak, and if you find a private place, then face him, otherwise, face him, then say “Allah” and “Allahu Akbar.”
