Hadith #15082
(Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then we came to the army, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him)! Call for water for ablution." So I said (calling everywhere): "Is there no water for ablution? Is there no water for ablution? Is there no water for ablution?" He said: I said: Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I did not find a drop (of water) in the caravan. There was a man from the Ansar who used to pour water into his old skin for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and hang it from a peg (made of) a date palm branch to cool it. (Jabir) said: You said to me: Go to so-and-so bin so-and-so Ansari and see if there is anything in his old waterskin. He said: I did. When I looked inside it, I saw nothing except a drop at the mouth of it. If I were to take it out (into another vessel), it would drink its dry part. I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! I found nothing in the mouth of this (waterskin) except a drop of water. If I were to pour it out, it would drink its dry part. He (ﷺ) said: Go and bring it to me. I brought it to him (ﷺ). He held it in his hand and started to say something. I did not understand what he said. He pressed it in his hands and moved it. Then he gave it to me and said: "Jabir! Call for a large pot of water." I called out: "Bring a large pot for horses." It was brought to me and I placed it in front of him. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) put his blessed hand in the bowl, spread it out, spread his fingers apart, then placed it at the bottom of the pot and said: "Jabir! Pour water on my hand and say Bismillah!" I poured it on him and said: Bismillah. I saw the water gushing out from between the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), then the large pot began to churn and spin with great force. Until it was full, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "O Jabir! Call out to whoever needs water." He said: The people came and took water until everyone's needs were met. He said: "I announced: Is there anyone left who needs (water)?" Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his hand from the vessel, and it was full.
