Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28594

Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Thabit al-Bunani, on the authority of Ja`far bin Muhammad, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “My intercession is for those of my nation who commit major sins.” Muhammad bin Ali said So Jabir said to me: O Muhammad, whoever is not among the people of great sins has no right or intercession. Abu Issa said: This is a good hadith, strange from this. The aspect is strange from the hadith of Ja`far ibn Muhammad.
