Hadith #29008
Ali bin Hajar told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Simak, on the authority of Jabir bin Samra, who said: I sat with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, more than a hundred times, and it was His friends were reciting poetry and reminiscing about things from pre-Islamic times, while he was silent and perhaps he smiled with them. Abu said Jesus, this is a good and authentic hadith. Zuhayr narrated it on the authority of Simak as well.
