حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَخَوَّلُنَا بِالْمَوْعِظَةِ فِي الأَيَّامِ مَخَافَةَ السَّآمَةِ عَلَيْنَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Abu Wa’il, on the authority of Abdullah, he said: The Messenger of God May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He gives us the opportunity to preach during these days for fear of boredom. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
