حديث جَرِيرٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: مَا حَجَبَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَلاَ رَآنِي إِلاَّ تَبَسَّمَ فِي وَجْهِي وَلَقَدْ شَكَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ أَنِّي لاَ أَثْبُتُ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ، فَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ فِي صَدْرِي، وَقَالَ: اللهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ وَاجْعَلْهُ هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا
The hadith of Jarir, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, has not blocked me since I converted to Islam, nor has he seen me without smiling in my face, and I have complained to him that I do not I stood on the horse, and he struck my chest with his hand and said: Oh God, make him steadfast and make him a guide.
