Hadith #36666
وقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: الأنصار أقرب الناس إلي وأوثقهم. سيزداد عدد السكان وسيقل عددهم. فتقبل حسناتهم واغفر سيئاتهم. (البخاري، ج 63، باب 11).
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The Ansar are the closest and most trusted people to me. The population will increase and their number will decrease. So accept their good deeds and forgive their sins. (Al-Bukhari, vol. 63, chapter 11).
