Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #39020

On the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, promised Gabriel that he would come to him and fret over him until he became strong against the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, so he went out and Gabriel met him and complained to him, so he said: We do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.
