Hadith #44604
حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيَرْقُدُ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا أَجْنَبَ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ.
Ubaidah bin Humaid told us, Ubaidullah bin Omar told me, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Omar, on the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, he said he was asked The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, can a man lie down if he is in a state of sexual impurity? He said, “Yes,” if he performs ablution.
