حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَكْبٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لَا وَأَبِي فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا هُوَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ‏.‏
Abu Sa`id, the client of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, he said, Zaida narrated to us, Sammak narrated to us, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said, Omar said, “We were with The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was riding, and a man said, “No,” and my father. Then a man said, “Do not swear by your fathers.” I turned and saw that it was the Messenger. May God bless him and grant him peace
