Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45518

Abdul Rahman told us, Zaida told us, on the authority of Mansour, on the authority of Saad bin Ubaidah, on the authority of Abu Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. He said: We were attending a funeral in Baqi al-Gharqad, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to us and sat down, and we sat around him, and he had a waistcoat. He mocked her, then he raised his gaze and said, “There is not a single soul among you except that its place in Paradise and Hell has been written.” miserable or happy, so the people said, O Messenger of God, shall we not remain according to our book and give up work, for whoever is among the people of happiness will become Happiness, and whoever is among the people of misery will fall into misery. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Rather, work, for every person is facilitated.” As for those who If he is among the people of misery, he will be made easy to do misery, and as for whoever is among the people of happiness, he will be made easy to do. Happiness, then he recited {As for him who gives and fears} according to his saying {We will make it easy for hardship}.
