Hadith #44622
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي الرِّشْكَ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَمْرٍو ابْنَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، يَقُولُ سَمِعَتْ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ يَلْبَسْ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَا يُكْسَاهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ.
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Yazid, meaning al-Rashk, narrated to us, on the authority of Muadhah, on the authority of Umm Amr, daughter of Abd Allah, that she heard Abd Allah Ibn Al-Zubayr, saying: I heard Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, saying in his sermon that he heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever wears silk in this world will not be clothed with it in the Hereafter.
