Hadith #44667
Sufyan told us, on the authority of Abdah ibn Abi Lubaba, on the authority of Abu Wa’il, he said: Al-Sabi ibn Ma’bad said: I was a Christian man, so I converted to Islam. So I performed the Ihram for Hajj and Umrah, and Zaid bin Suhan and Salman bin Rabi’ah heard me as I was performing Ihram for them, and they said, “This man is more lost than his family’s camel.” It was as if a mountain had been placed on me by their words, so I approached Omar, may God be pleased with him, and informed him. He approached them, blamed them, and approached me and said: You have been guided to the Sunnah of your Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. You have been guided to the Sunnah of your Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Abdah said. Abu said. Wael, Masruq and I often went to the boy to ask him about him.
