حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الرِّشْكُ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَمْرٍو ابْنَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَخْطُبُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَا يُكْسَاهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ.
Affan told us, Abdul-Wahid told us, Yazid Al-Rashk told us, on the authority of Mu’adh, on the authority of Umm Amr, daughter of Abdullah, that she heard Abdullah Ibn Al-Zubayr narrates that he heard Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, giving a sermon. He said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Whoever wears silk in this world will not be clothed in the hereafter.
