حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ لَوْلَا آخِرُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مَا فُتِحَتْ قَرْيَةٌ إِلَّا قَسَمْتُهَا كَمَا قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ.
Abd al-Rahman told us, on the authority of Malik, on the authority of Zayd ibn Aslam, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Omar, who said, “If it were not for the last of the Muslims, no town would have been conquered without I divided it as the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, divided Khaybar.
