Hadith #44833
Abu Al-Mundhir told us, Ismail bin Omar told us, on the authority of Hajjaj, on the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, who said: A man killed his son. Intentionally, it was taken to Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and he placed upon him one hundred camels, thirty camels, thirty female trunks, and forty. Then he said, “The murderer does not inherit. And had I not heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘A father shall not be killed for his child,’ I would have killed you.”
