Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #44935

Ismail bin Aban Al-Warraq told us, Ya’qub told us, on the authority of Ja’far bin Abi Al-Mughirah, on the authority of Ibn Abza, on the authority of Uthman bin Affan, May God be pleased with him, he said: Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr said to him when he was besieged: I have some miracles that I have prepared for you, so would you please go to Mecca? So whoever wanted to come to you will come to you and say, “No.” Indeed, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, “A ram from the Quraysh whose name will be atheist in Mecca.” Abdullah is responsible for half of people’s burdens.
