Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45175

Yaqoub told us, my father told us, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Hunayn told me, on the authority of his father, he said: I heard Ali bin Abi A student, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade me. He said, “O Ali, I did not clothe it with it.” To wear it, he said, so I returned it to Fatima, may God be pleased with her, and I gave it to her, and she took it to fold it with me, so I tore it apart. With two doubles, he said, and she said, “Your hands are shattered, O Ibn Abi Talib.” What did you do? He said, “So I told her, ‘The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade me from So wear her and clothe your wives.
