حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُجَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ.
Affan told us, Shu’bah told us, Ali bin Mudrak told me, he said, I heard Abu Zur’ah bin Amr bin Jarir, speaking on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Naji, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: Angels do not enter a house in which A dog or a picture...
