Hadith #45306
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Jabir, on the authority of al-Sha’bi, on the authority of al-Harith, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. He said, “The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was cursed.” May God bless him and grant him peace, the one who consumes usury, the one who pays it, its two witnesses, the one who writes it down, the one who tattoos it and the one who is tattooed for the good, and the one who withholds charity. And the one who makes it lawful and the one who is made lawful is his, and he forbade wailing.
