Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45314

Abu Sa`id, the client of Banu Hashim and Muawiyah bin Amr, narrated to us, saying: Zaida narrated to us, Ata bin Al-Sa’ib narrated to us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prepared for Fatima, may God be pleased with her, in a khamil, a skin-cloth, and a human pillow. It was stuffed with fiber, Muawiyah said, “Remember,” my father said, “and the velvet veil.”
