Hadith #45392
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، وَشُعْبَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا.
Waki` narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, and Shu`bah, on the authority of Habib ibn Abi Thabit, on the authority of Abd Khair, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that he said: I inform you of the best of this nation after its prophet, Abu Bakr, then Omar, may God be pleased with them both.
