Hadith #45394
Hajjaj told us, Laith told us, Yazid bin Abi Habib told me, on the authority of Abu al-Sa’bah, on the authority of a man from Hamadan called Abu Aflah, on the authority of Ibn Zurayr, that he heard Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, say that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, took silk and put it in His right hand, then he took gold and placed it in his left hand, then he said, “These two things are forbidden to the males of my nation.”
