Hadith #45395
Hajjaj narrated to us, Laith narrated to us, Saeed narrated to us, meaning Al-Maqbari, on the authority of Amr bin Sulaym al-Zarqi, on the authority of Asim bin Amr, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, said: We went out with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, until we were in the free watering area. Which belonged to Saad bin Abi Waqqas. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Bring me ablution.” When he performed ablution, he stood up and faced the Qiblah, then He said “Allahu Akbar” and then said, “O God, Abraham was your servant and your friend, who prayed for the people of Mecca to bless you, and I am Muhammad, your servant and your messenger.” I invite you to the people of Medina that you bless them in their times and hours, just as you blessed the people of Mecca, with two blessings.
