Hadith #45508
Waki` told us, on the authority of Shu`bah, on the authority of Amr ibn Murrah, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Salamah, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said, “I complained and the Prophet came to me.” May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and I say, O God, if my time has come, then grant me relief, and if it is late, then heal me or make me well. It was a trial, so be patient with me. Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: How did you say? He said, so I repeated it. He said, so he wiped his hand and then said, O God, heal him or grant him health. He said: I never complained of my pain after that.
