Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45776

Abdullah told us, Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah told me, Abu Muawiyah told us, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Nu’man bin Saad, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: In Paradise there is a market in which there is neither buying nor selling. Except for images of women and men. If a man desires an image, he enters it, and in it there is a gathering of young men raising voices that he has not seen of creation. Like it, they say: We are the immortal ones, so we will not perish. We are the contented ones, so we will not be displeased. We are the gentle ones, so we will not be miserable. So blessed are they. For the one who was ours and we were his. Abdullah told us, Zuhair Abu Khaythamah told us, Abu Muawiyah told us, Abdul Rahman bin Ishaq told us, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that there is a market in Paradise, so he mentioned the hadith except that he said So if a man desires a picture, he enters it and says, “And in it there are a group of young Houris raising their voices,” and he mentions something like it.
