Kathir ibn Hisham narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Salamah, or Maslamah. Kathir said, and my guardian is safe. On the authority of Ali or on the authority of Al-Zubayr, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to address us and remind us of the days of God until we knew that in His face was as if he were a warner of a people to whom the matter would come morning, and whenever it was a conversation with Gabriel, he would not smile and laugh until he rose.
