Hadith #46008
عن ابن عمر رضى الله عنهما قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏ "‏لا يقمن أحدكم من مجلسه ثم يجلس فيه، ولكن توسعوا وتفسحوا‏"‏ وكان ابن عمر إذا قام له رجل من مجلسه لم يجلس فيه‏.‏ (‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏.
Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said:‏ ‏ “None of you shall take up his council and then sit in it, but expand and give up.” When the son of Omar stood up to him, a man from his council would not sit in it.‏ (Agreed).
