Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #46564

On the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade buying and selling in the mosque, or for a stray to be found there, or for poetry to be recited there. ((Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi, who said it is a good hadith))
