حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الرَّجُلُ يَسُبُّنِي؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: الْمُسْتَبَّانِ شَيْطَانَانِ يَتَهَاتَرَانِ وَيَتَكَاذَبَانِ.
Amr bin Marzuq told us, he said: Imran told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Yazid bin Abdullah bin Al-Shakhir, on the authority of Iyad bin Himar, who said: I said: O Messenger of God, the man is cursing me? The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The one who is reproached are two devils who slander and lie.
