Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/754
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَخِي أَبِي رُهْمٍ كُلْثُومُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ الْغِفَارِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا رُهْمٍ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّذِينَ بَايَعُوهُ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ، يَقُولُ: غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَزْوَةَ تَبُوكَ، فنُمْتُ لَيْلَةً بِالأَخْضَرِ، فَصِرْتُ قَرِيبًا مِنْهُ، فَأُلْقِيَ عَلَيْنَا النُّعَاسُ، فَطَفِقْتُ أَسْتَيْقِظُ وَقَدْ دَنَتْ رَاحِلَتِي مِنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ، فَيُفْزِعُنِي دُنُوُّهَا خَشْيَةَ أَنْ تُصِيبَ رِجْلَهُ فِي الْغَرْزِ، فَطَفِقْتُ أُؤَخِّرُ رَاحِلَتِي حَتَّى غَلَبَتْنِي عَيْنِي بَعْضَ اللَّيْلِ، فَزَاحَمَتْ رَاحِلَتِي رَاحِلَةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَرِجْلُهُ فِي الْغَرْزِ، فَأَصَبْتُ رِجْلَهُ، فَلَمْ أَسْتَيْقِظْ إِلاَّ بِقَوْلِهِ: حَسِّ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، اسْتَغْفِرْ لِي، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: سِرْ. فَطَفِقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْأَلُنِي عَنْ مَنْ تَخَلَّفَ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ فَأُخْبِرُهُ، فَقَالَ، وَهُوَ يَسْأَلُنِي: مَا فَعَلَ النَّفْرُ الْحُمُرُ الطِّوَالُ الثِّطَاطُ؟ قَالَ: فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِتَخَلُّفِهِمْ، قَالَ: فَمَا فَعَلَ السُّودُ الْجِعَادُ الْقِصَارُ الَّذِينَ لَهُمْ نَعَمٌ بِشَبَكَةِ شَرَخٍ؟ فَتَذَكَّرْتُهُمْ فِي بَنِي غِفَارٍ، فَلَمْ أَذْكُرْهُمْ حَتَّى ذَكَرْتُ أَنَّهُمْ رَهْطٌ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أُولَئِكَ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ، قَالَ: فَمَا يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَ أُولَئِكَ، حِينَ يَتَخَلَّفُ، أَنْ يَحْمِلَ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ مِنْ إِبِلِهِ امْرَءًا نَشِيطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ؟ فَإِنَّ أَعَزَّ أَهْلِي عَلَيَّ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفَ عَنِّي الْمُهَاجِرُونَ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ وَالأَنْصَارُ، وَغِفَارٌ وَأَسْلَمُ.
Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah told us, he said: Ibrahim bin Saad told us, on the authority of Salih bin Kaysan, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, he said: He informed me The son of my brother, Abu Rahm, Kulthum ibn al-Husayn al-Ghifari, that he heard Abu Rahm, and he was one of the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, who They pledged their allegiance to him under the tree. He said: I went on a campaign with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, the battle of Tabuk, and I slept in the green one night, so I became close to him, and he was thrown at us. I was drowsy, so I started to wake up when my mount was approaching his, and its approach terrified me for fear that it would hit his leg. The stitches, so I began to delay my journey until I was overcome by sleep some night, and my riding crowded out the riding of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his foot was in the stitches. So I hit his leg, and I did not wake up until he said: He felt pain. So I said: O Messenger of God, ask forgiveness for me. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said He, peace and blessings be upon him: Secret. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, began asking me about those of Banu Ghifar who remained behind, so I would tell him. He said, and he was asking me: What did the group do? The tall, sluggish red ones? He said: So I told him about their backwardness. He said: What did the black, curly, short people who had them do? Yes, with a network of cracks? Then I remembered them among the Banu Ghifar, but I did not mention them until I mentioned that they were a group of Muslims, so I said: O Messenger God, those are the ones who have submitted. He said: What prevents one of those, when he lags behind, from carrying on one of his camels an active person for the sake of God? The dearest thing to my family is that the emigrants from Quraysh and the Ansar, and Ghafar and Aslam, remain behind me.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/755
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتِ: اسْتَأْذَنَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ: بِئْسَ أَخُو الْعَشِيرَةِ، فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ انْبَسَطَ إِلَيْهِ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ؟ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْفَاحِشَ الْمُتَفَحِّشَ.
Musa told us, he said: Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: A man asked permission to go to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: What a miserable brother of the clan. When he entered, he turned to him, so I said to him, and he said: Indeed, God does not like the indecent and indecent person.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/756
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: اسْتَأْذَنَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَوْدَةُ لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ، وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةً ثَقِيلَةً ثَبِطَةً، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا.
Muhammad bin Kathir told us, he said: Sufyan told us, he said: Abdul Rahman told me, on the authority of Al-Qasim, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her. She said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked for permission on the night of a Friday prayer. She was a heavy and anxious woman, so he gave her permission.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/757
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا قَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَنَائِمَ حُنَيْنٍ بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ ازْدَحَمُوا عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: إِنَّ عَبْدًا مِنْ عِبَادِ اللهِ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَى قَوْمٍ، فَكَذَّبُوهُ وَشَجُّوهُ، فَكَانَ يَمْسَحُ الدَّمَ عَنْ جَبْهَتِهِ وَيَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِقَوْمِي، فَإِنَّهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ. قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ: فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَحْكِي الرَّجُلَ يَمْسَحُ عَنْ جَبْهَتِهِ.
Musaddad narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, on the authority of Asim bin Bahdala, on the authority of Abu Wael, on the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: When the Messenger of God swore May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. They took the spoils of Hunayn with al-Jiranah. They crowded around him, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Indeed, one of God’s servants God sent him to a people, but they denied him and defamed him, so he used to wipe the blood from his forehead and say: O God, forgive my people, for they do not They know. Abdullah bin Masoud said: It is as if I were looking at the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, telling the story of a man wiping his forehead.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/758
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَشِيطٍ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ قَالَ: جَاءَ قَوْمٌ إِلَى عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ لَنَا جِيرَانًا يَشْرَبُونَ وَيَفْعَلُونَ، أَفَنَرْفَعُهُمْ إِلَى الإِمَامِ؟ قَالَ: لاَ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: مَنْ رَأَى مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَوْرَةً فَسَتَرَهَا، كَانَ كَمَنْ أَحْيَا مَوْءُودَةً مِنْ قَبْرِهَا.
Bishr bin Muhammad told us, he said: Abdullah told us, he said: Ibrahim bin Nashit told us, on the authority of Ka’b bin Alqamah, on the authority of Abu Al-Haytham He said: A people came to Uqba bin Amir and said: We have neighbors who drink and do what they do, should we raise them to the imam? He said: No, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: Whoever sees a Muslim’s private parts and covers them, it is like one who revived a dead woman from her grave.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/759
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: إِذَا سَمِعْتَ الرَّجُلَ يَقُولُ: هَلَكَ النَّاسُ، فَهُوَ أَهْلَكُهُمْ.
Ismail told us, he said: Malik told me, on the authority of Suhail bin Abi Salih, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: If you hear a man say: People have perished, then he has destroyed them.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/760
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: لاَ تَقُولُوا لِلْمُنَافِقِ: سَيِّدٌ، فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ يَكُ سَيِّدَكُمْ فَقَدْ أَسْخَطْتُمْ رَبَّكُمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
Ali bin Abdullah told us, he said: Muadh bin Hisham told us, he said: My father told me, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Abdullah bin Buraidah, on the authority of His father said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Do not call the hypocrite, “Master,” for if he is your master, then you have angered your Lord, the Mighty and Majestic. Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/761
حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ أَرْطَأَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا زُكِّيَ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِمَا يَقُولُونَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا لا يَعْلَمُونَ.
Mukhlid bin Malik told us, he said: Hajjaj bin Muhammad told us, he said: Mubarak bin Fadalah told us, on the authority of Bakr bin Abdullah Al-Muzani, on the authority of Adi bin Artaat, said: A man was one of the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. When he was purified, he said: O God, do not hold me accountable for something They say, “Forgive me for what they do not know.”

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/762
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ لأَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، أَوْ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ لأَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ: مَا سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي ( زَعَمَ )؟ قَالَ: بِئْسَ مَطِيَّةُ الرَّجُلِ.
Abu Asim told us, on the authority of Al-Awza’i, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, on the authority of Abu Qalaba, that Abu Abdullah said to Abu Masoud, or Abu Masoud said to Abu Abdullah: Did you not hear the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding (allegedly)? He said: What a miserable mount for a man.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْيَمَامِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: يَا أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ، مَا سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ فِي زَعَمُوا؟ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: بِئْسَ مَطِيَّةُ الرَّجُلِ، وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: لَعْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ.
Yahya bin Musa told us, he said: Omar bin Yunus Al-Yamimi told us, he said: Yahya bin Abdul Aziz told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Many, on the authority of Abu Qalaba, on the authority of Abu Al-Muhallab, that Abdullah bin Amir said: O Abu Masoud, I have never heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say What did they claim? He said: I heard him say: An evil mount for a man, and I heard him say: Cursing a believer is like killing him.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/764
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: قَالَ عَمْرٌو: عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ لِشَيْءٍ لاَ يَعْلَمُهُ: اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُ ؛ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ، فَيُعَلِّمَ اللَّهَ مَا لاَ يَعْلَمُ، فَذَاكَ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَظِيمٌ.
Ali bin Abdullah told us, he said: Sufyan told us, he said: Amr said: On the authority of Ibn Abbas: None of you should say no to anything. He knows him: God knows him; And God knows other than that, so God knows what he does not know, for that is great in the sight of God.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/765
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: الْمَجَرَّةُ: بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ السَّمَاءِ، وَأَمَّا قَوْسُ قُزَحٍ: فَأَمَانٌ مِنَ الْغَرَقِ بَعْدَ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ.
Al-Hasan bin Omar told us, he said: Abdul-Warith told us, on the authority of Ali bin Zaid, he said: Yusuf bin Mahran told me, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The galaxy: one of the gates of heaven, and as for the rainbow: it is a protection from drowning after the people of Noah, peace be upon him.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/766
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ سَأَلَ ابْنُ الْكَوَّا عَلِيًّا عَنِ الْمَجَرَّةِ، قَالَ: هُوَ شَرَجُ السَّمَاءِ، وَمِنْهَا فُتِحَتِ السَّمَاءُ بِمَاءٍ مُنْهَمِرٍ.
Al-Humaidi told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Husayn and others, on the authority of Abu Tufayl, Ibn al-Kawa asked Ali about the galaxy, He said: It is the anus of the sky, and from it the sky was opened with pouring water.

حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: الْقَوْسُ: أَمَانٌ لأَهْلِ الأَرْضِ مِنَ الْغَرَقِ، وَالْمَجَرَّةُ: بَابُ السَّمَاءِ الَّذِي تَنْشَقُّ مِنْهُ
‘Arim told us, he said: Abu Awanah told us, on the authority of Abu Bishr, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas: The bow: security for the people of The earth is from sinking, and the galaxy: the door of the sky from which it is opened.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/768
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْحَارِثِ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلاً قَالَ لأَبِي رَجَاءٍ: أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلاَمَ، وَأَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْمَعَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ فِي مُسْتَقَرِّ رَحْمَتِهِ، قَالَ: وَهَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدٌ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: فَمَا مُسْتَقَرُّ رَحْمَتِهِ؟ قَالَ: الْجَنَّةُ، قَالَ: لَمْ تُصِبْ، قَالَ: فَمَا مُسْتَقَرُّ رَحْمَتِهِ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ.
Musa bin Ismail narrated to us, saying: Abu Al-Harith Al-Kirmani narrated to me, saying: I heard a man say to my father, please: I recite my peace upon you. And I ask God to bring me and you together in the abode of His mercy. He said: Can anyone do that? He said: What is the abode of His mercy? His mercy? He said: Paradise. He said: It has not been afflicted. He said: What is the abode of His mercy? He said: I said: Lord of the worlds.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/769
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ: يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ.
Ismail told us, he said: Malik told me, on the authority of Abu al-Zinad, on the authority of al-Araj, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: They do not say One of you: O disappointment of time, for God is time.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad # 33/770
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: لاَ يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ: يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ، قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: أَنَا الدَّهْرُ، أُرْسِلُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ، فَإِذَا شِئْتُ قَبَضْتُهُمَا. وَلاَ يَقُولَنَّ لِلْعِنَبِ: الْكَرْمَ، فَإِنَّ الْكَرْمَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ.

حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ بَشِيرٍ، وَكَانَ اسْمُهُ زَحْمَ بْنَ مَعْبَدٍ، فَهَاجَرَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَقَالَ: مَا اسْمُكَ؟ قَالَ: زَحْمٌ، قَالَ: بَلْ أَنْتَ بَشِيرٌ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذْ مَرَّ بِقُبُورِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ سَبَقَ هَؤُلاَءِ خَيْرٌ كَثِيرٌ ثَلاَثًا، فَمَرَّ بِقُبُورِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ هَؤُلاَءِ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا ثَلاَثًا، فَحَانَتْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَظْرَةٌ، فَرَأَى رَجُلاً يَمْشِي فِي الْقُبُورِ، وَعَلَيْهِ نَعْلاَنِ، فَقَالَ: يَا صَاحِبَ السِّبْتِيَّتَيْنِ، أَلْقِ سِبْتِيَّتَيْكَ، فَنَظَرَ الرَّجُلُ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ فَرَمَى بِهِمَا.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الصَّعْقُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَمْرَةَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ: أَمْسَى عِنْدَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى نَجْمٍ عَلَى حِيَالِهِ فَقَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ، لَيَوَدَّنَّ أَقْوَامٌ وَلَوْا إِمَارَاتٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأَعْمَالاً أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُتَعَلِّقِينَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ النَّجْمِ، وَلَمْ يَلُوا تِلْكَ الإِمَارَاتِ، وَلاَ تِلْكَ الأَعْمَالَ. ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ: لاَ بُلَّ شَانِئُكَ، أَكُلُّ هَذَا سَاغَ لأَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ فِي مَشْرِقِهِمْ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ وَاللَّهِ، قَالَ: لَقَدْ قَبَّحَ اللَّهُ وَمَكَرَ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ، لَيَسُوقُنَّهُمْ حُمُرًا غِضَابًا، كَأَنَّمَا وُجُوهُهُمُ الْمَجَانُّ الْمُطْرَقَةُ، حَتَّى يُلْحِقُوا ذَا الزَّرْعِ بِزَرْعِهِ، وَذَا الضَّرْعِ بِضَرْعِهِ.

حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ سُمَيْرٍ الأَلَهَانِيِّ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، وَكَانَ بِجَمْعٍ مِنَ الْمَجَامِعِ، فَبَلَغَهُ أَنَّ أَقْوَامًا يَلْعَبُونَ بِالْكُوبَةِ، فَقَامَ غَضْبَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْهَا أَشَدَّ النَّهْيِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَلاَ إِنَّ اللاَّعِبَ بِهَا لَيَأْكُلُ ثَمَرَهَا، كَآكِلِ لَحْمِ الْخِنْزِيرِ، وَمُتَوَضِّئٍ بِالدَّمِ. يَعْنِي بِالْكُوبَةِ: النَّرْدَ.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ حَصِيرَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ: إِنَّكُمْ فِي زَمَانٍ: كَثِيرٌ فُقَهَاؤُهُ، قَلِيلٌ خُطَبَاؤُهُ، قَلِيلٌ سُؤَّالُهُ، كَثِيرٌ مُعْطُوهُ، الْعَمَلُ فِيهِ قَائِدٌ لِلْهَوَى. وَسَيَأْتِي مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ زَمَانٌ: قَلِيلٌ فُقَهَاؤُهُ، كَثِيرٌ خُطَبَاؤُهُ، كَثِيرٌ سُؤَّالُهُ، قَلِيلٌ مُعْطُوهُ، الْهَوَى فِيهِ قَائِدٌ لِلْعَمَلِ، اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ حُسْنَ الْهَدْيِ، فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ، خَيْرٌ مِنْ بَعْضِ الْعَمَلِ.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُدْعَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ يَجْثُو بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَيَنْثُرُ كِنَانَتَهُ وَيَقُولُ: وَجْهِي لِوَجْهِكَ الْوِقَاءُ، وَنَفْسِي لِنَفْسِكَ الْفِدَاءُ.

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ: فَانْطَلَقَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَ الْبَقِيعِ، وَانْطَلَقْتُ أَتْلُوهُ، فَالْتَفَتَ فَرَآنِي فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، فَقُلْتُ: لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَسَعْدَيْكَ، وَأَنَا فِدَاؤُكَ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْمُكْثِرِينَ هُمُ الْمُقِلُّونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، إِلاَّ مَنْ قَالَ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا فِي حَقٍّ، قُلْتُ: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، فَقَالَ: هَكَذَا ثَلاَثًا، ثُمَّ عَرَضَ لَنَا أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، فَقُلْتُ: لَبَّيْكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ وَسَعْدَيْكَ، وَأَنَا فِدَاؤُكَ، قَالَ: مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنَّ أُحُدًا لِآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ذَهَبًا، فَيُمْسِي عِنْدَهُمْ دِينَارٌ، أَوْ قَالَ: مِثْقَالٌ، ثُمَّ عَرَضَ لَنَا وَادٍ، فَاسْتَنْتَلَ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ لَهُ حَاجَةً، فَجَلَسْتُ عَلَى شَفِيرٍ، وَأَبْطَأَ عَلَيَّ. قَالَ: فَخَشِيتُ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُهُ كَأَنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَجُلاً، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَيَّ وَحْدَهُ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَنِ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي كُنْتَ تُنَاجِي؟ فَقَالَ: أَوَ سَمِعْتَهُ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَإِنَّهُ جِبْرِيلُ أَتَانِي، فَبَشَّرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، قُلْتُ: وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ.

Then a valley was shown to us, so we inferred, and I thought that he had I needed something, so I sat on the edge, and he slowed down on me. He said: I was afraid for him, then I heard him as if he was talking to a man, then he came out to me alone, So I said: O Messenger of God, who is the man with whom you were conversing? He said: Did you hear him? I said: Yes, he said: For it was Gabriel who came to me. So he gave me good news that whoever of my nation dies not associating anything with God will enter Paradise. I said: Even if he commits adultery or steals? He said: Yes.
